These pages and links will be left for a short time for reference
Welcome to the new COLLECTOR'S CORNER - the pages run by Collectors and dealing with the issues that they find most of INTEREST
A Series of Topics will run on these pages, each topic having its own page and its own opportunity for Collectors to contribute or to ask questions.
Several areas of interest have been suggested, but the decision as to which Topics run and how much information is eventually exchanged is entirely down to you. If the Topics being explored are not of interest to you - suggest others and we will open a set of pages that that, or those proposals.
The FIRST area for interest and discussion in the new COLLECTORS' CORNER concerns the two Wrenn locos finished in British Rail Black Ex-L.N.W.R. Livery, W2286 City of Leicester and W2414 City of Nottingham: The question concerns the different finishes of both Locos, one finish being a single Blue line along the length of the running plate, the other finish being the red and blue parallel lines on the running plate. Click HERE to follow that discussion and to add your own information:
The SECOND area for discussion is the use of Hornby Dublo Couplings and their inclusion in the various Wrenn Loco and Wagon boxes - an article for information has been prepared by David SMITH and is now published for viewing - please CLICK HERE. If you should wish to contribute to this subject by discussion, clarification or question then please EMAIL to Collectors@gandr-wrenn.co.uk
